3-2 Program, Physics & Engineering - Double Major

This program of studies is recommended for students who have educational and career interests in any engineering field of study including electrical, mechanical, aeronautical, civil or chemical engineering with a strong physics BAckground in mind. The first three years are spent enrolled at SUNY Potsdam, but during the second and third years the student is a part-time student at Clarkson University. The students in their fourth and fifth years are full-time at Clarkson University. At the end of the fifth year, the student receives both a BA in physics from SUNY Potsdam and a BS degree from Clarkson University in the engineering field of choice made by the student.
