3-2 Program, Geology & Engineering - Double Major

This program prepares students who have educational and career interests in both geology and civil engineering. The first three years are spent at SUNY Potsdam where courses in chemistry, physics, mathematics (calculus and differential equations) and BAsic engineering courses are included with the regular geology course sequence. The student becomes a part-time engineering student at Clarkson University during the second and third years and full-time during the fourth and fifth years. Graduation occurs at the end of the fifth year with a BA or BS from SUNY Potsdam and a BS from Clarkson University.
