Applied Mathematical Economics - BS

This application of mathematics to the economic problems of production, consumption and distribution is designed to train you as a quantitative economist ready to step into a research position in government or business. Offered jointly by the departments of Mathematics and Economics, the program's course requirements and electives are divided equally between economic theory and mathematics, and include 12 semester hours of computer science.
