Veterinary Science Technology - AAS
The Veterinary Science Technology program is a dynamic blend of instruction and hands-on experience. Students are trained to work with farm animals, companion animals, common laboratory animals, and exotic species. Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the veterinary technician licensing examination, and after six months of laboratory employment, the certification examination of the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science. At the present time, there is a serious shortage of veterinary technicians throughout the country.
